Jim Michner, CPA

Since joining De Boer, Baumann & Company early in his career, Jim continues to bring enthusiasm and diligence to his work. He primarily serves manufacturing companies in tax planning and business consulting. Jim also has extensive experience working with software companies. He has worked with companies to minimize tax burdens through cost segregation and use of research and development credits, and he has assisted clients through succession plans and change of ownership.

More than simply an accountant, Jim aspires to provide extraordinary service to his clients. He believes in building relationships with his clients that go beyond that of accountant and client. Jim finds that long-term client partnerships are based on a combination of mutual respect and friendship, expertise, and service that goes “the extra mile.”

When away from the office, Jim enjoys playing hockey, going for rides on his Harley, and spending time with family and friends.
