Ashley Joy Schut – Staff Accountant

Ashley joined the De Boer, Baumann & Company team in 2023 after graduating from Davenport University. She currently serves as a Staff Accountant, where she utilizes her organizing skills to perform audits and tax returns for various businesses. Ashley was first inspired to pursue accounting after taking a personality quiz in high school that recommended the field. She credits her success to the encouragement of her family, who has always supported her in pursuing her education.

Ashley lives in her hometown of Jenison, where the changing seasons suit her outdoor lifestyle. She enjoys going to the beach in the summer and cross-country skiing in the winter. One of her favorite things to read is the Harry Potter series, which she describes as “classic, feel-good books.” When she isn’t working, Ashley can often be found watching hockey, listening to Spotify, or planning her next Caribbean cruise!
