Get to Know Shawna!

Shawna joined the De Boer, Baumann & Company team in 2016 as a Senior Staff Accountant. A graduate of Western Michigan University, she has been a valuable team player since day one with both a CPA and MSA! Shawna, her husband, and their two kittens enjoy watching the seasons change over Michigan’s many lakes.

• What fictional place would you most like to visit?
  • Definitely Hogwarts! The Shire of Middle Earth is a close second.
• What do you wish you knew more about?
  • Our home came with multiple flowerbeds filled with gorgeous flowers. I would love to learn more about how to best care for them.
• What is your favorite smell?
  • Cinnamon and anything that smells like fall.
• What is the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten?
  • Liver paste. It was on a buffet when I was young and I thought it was chocolate pudding.
