De Boer, Baumann & Company, P.L.C. Announces Promotions

De Boer, Baumann & Company, P.L.C. is pleased to announce the promotions of Steven Darrow, CPA, Caitlin Galia, CPA, and Bradley Weber, CPA.

Darrow is excited to take on the challenge of member in training; he previously served as senior manager. Formerly a staff accountant, Galia steps into the role of senior staff accountant. Weber moves from manager to senior manager.

An alumnus of Grand Valley State University, Darrow holds a Master of Science in Administration. He also earned Bachelor degrees in Accounting and Finance from Davenport University. Within the firm, Darrow chairs the Manufacturing Niche and the Marketing Committee, and is a member of the Tax Committee and the State & Local Tax (SALT) Department. His accounting and industry affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the MICPA West Michigan A&A Symposium Task Force, the Michigan Manufacturer’s Association, and Ottagan Addiction Recovery (OAR), which he serves as treasurer. Darrow and his wife, Maria, live in Holland and together have one daughter.

Galia is a 2016 graduate of Grand Valley State University and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance. Prior to graduating, she served as an intern with De Boer, Baumann & Company, P.L.C.; she joined the firm fulltime after completing her degree. Galia, who was awarded her CPA designation in 2019, is a member of the AICPA, the MICPA, and Holland Young Professionals. She currently resides in Holland.

In 2011, Weber graduated from Davenport University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He went on to attend Grand Valley State University, earning a Master of Science in Accounting in 2013. Within the firm, he is the chair of the A&A Committee and a member of the Manufacturing Group. His outside affiliations include the AICPA, the MICPA, and Mediation Services, which he serves as treasurer. Weber and his wife, Makay, live in the greater Grand Rapids area.
