IRS Announces 2019 Tax Season Start Date

The IRS recently announced that tax season will open on Monday, January 28, 2019. This is the day they will begin accepting paper and electronic tax returns. Additionally, the IRS stated that they will provide refunds as scheduled – despite the government shutdown.
