Ways To Continue Raising and Saving Money During a Downturn

There’s no time like the present to re-evaluate where your organization’s funds are going. Andrea Holthouser spoke with Network For Good about ways to raise money and cut costs in your organization.

• Don’t forget to thank your donors for their contributions and what those contributions mean for your organization.
• Look for activities and software that don’t spark revenue. If it requires more staff and volunteer time than resources it brings in, it may be time to eliminate it.
• Think of ways to help other nonprofits. Is there extra office space that could be leased out or equipment that can be sold?
