De Boer, Baumann & Company, PLC Announces New Partner

De Boer, Baumann & Company, PLC is pleased to announce that Steven Darrow, CPA has been promoted into the firm’s partner group, effective January 1, 2021. A member of the firm since 2007, prior to this promotion Darrow served as a senior manager and took part in the firm’s member-in-training program.

A graduate of Davenport University, Darrow earned bachelor’s degrees in Accounting and Financial Planning and Services in 2006. He went on to attend Grand Valley State University, earning a master’s degree in Accounting in 2007. Within the firm, Darrow chairs the Manufacturing Niche and is a member of the Tax Committee and the State & Local Tax (SALT) Department. His accounting and industry affiliations include the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), the MICPA West Michigan A&A Symposium Task Force, the Michigan Manufacturer’s Association, and Ottagan Addiction Recovery (OAR), which he serves as treasurer. Darrow and his wife, Maria, live in Holland and have one daughter.
